Session Summary
Previous Session: - Session 2 Recap
Having been dismissed by Professor Serafina Onyx after the incident in the extra-dimensional mansion. Borun, Elvis and Dalaila decided to go to Firejolt Cafe to drink coffee and revise, whereas Roleck decided to go back to the dorm and revise in quiet.
As the students headed to the Firejolt cafe they were approached by another student who told them that a group of students had found some strange looking frogs that they were going to race in one of the cubbies at Firejolt Cafe. In the cafe already were Omari and Zolon .
As the students approached the area just out of site of the barista station, they saw that the students already there had moved the tables and chairs and chalked an outline of a track for the frogs to race on. Rampart and Tilana Kapule were already ready to race two of the five frogs so Elvis, Dalaila and Omari all decided to race the remaining three frogs. Borun and Zolon decided to just be vocal during the race.
The race was broken down into three stages . Borun made an early decision to cheer on Elvis whilst it seemed as though Zolon took a dislike to Rampart, at least judging by the insults that were thrown his way in an effort distract him from the race. Both Borun and Zolon were successful in their chosen strategies asElvis took an early lead which he maintained for the entire race and Rampart never really got off the mark. The race ended with Elvis winning and Rampart losing in spectacular fashion.As the race finished and the students started to disperse from the cafe, the frogs started to croak and belch up a black goopy liquid. As the party looked on the frogs started to grow in size and lunged to attack the party members.
The ensuing battle went back and forth and in the end the students were victorious but not without casualties. As the battle ended and the frogs were defeated and returned to their normal size Omari , who had sustained serious injury, gasped his last breath. As this happened Ellina Tanglewood, the cafe manager, came running in. She passed healing potions to the remaining party members and called the campus infirmary to take the corpse of Omari to the Oracle to see if there was anything that she could do but advised the party that although, she didnt think there was anything that could be done, if any one could do this then it would be the Oracle.
Senior faculty members were advised of the incident and a full investigation would have to happen. Whilst this investigation was underway this would no doubt mean the temporary closure of Firejolt Cafe. This obviously would mean that Borun and Dalaila would have nowhere to work until the investigation had been concluded and Firejolt Cafewas allowed to re-open.
Whilst Ellina explained this and Omari was taken away the party members examined the black goop that the frogs had spewed and realised quite quicly it was the same goop that covered the chests, turning them into mimics. Elvis took another sample to go with the sample he had extracted from the mimics and Zolon thought it resembled some sort of Eldritch balm.
The following day the party members , traumatised by the loss of Omari , still had an exam for their Magical Physiologies Exam.
None of the students did to well on the written exam but when it came to the essay part of the exam Elvis seemed to do really well as did Borun and Zolon. Dalaila, still traumatised by the loss of Omari did not fair as well. Finally in the last part of the exam all of the party , with the exception of Borun decided they had to cheat. Elvis was the only one who managed to get away with it while Dalaila and Zolon were seen by Professor Onyx and were instantly given a fail. The results of the exam were

| The senior faculty members at Strixhaven take cheating very seriously, but given recent traumatic events any students that have failed the exam will be given an opportunity to resit. |
